“Metsikult kosutav eine” pakub muinasjutulist põgenemist sõbralikku ja lapsemeelsesse maailma, kutsudes ühise laua äärde suhtlema, naerma ja unistama. Mustikavarte ja sambla varjus on mõnus turvaline taas uute ja vanade sõpradega kohtuda. Põimunud mustikavarte vahelt tervitavad meid tuttavlikud lustakad karukesed. Igaüks isemoodi ja oma looga, mida pajatada. Lendleva kergusega hõljuvad võilille ebemed, mis justkui lennutavad unistusi kõrgustesse, kandes endas uue tärkava energia sümbolit. Mõtte pühadus peitub austuses toidu, elu ja oma kaaslaste vastu. Lapsele ei ole einestamine ainult söömine, vaid kogemuste ja emotsioonide vahetamise koht. Läbi ühiste lugude ja tegemiste on võimalik suunata väikese inimese suhtumist ellu, mille käigus juurduvad sotsiaalsed ja elulised oskused.
Avataval näitusel eksponeeritud keraamiliste nõude sari KOSU on suunatud väikelastele, kelle vanemad väärtustavad lapsega veedetud ühist aega. Lapse arengu seisukohalt vajab väikelaps ergonoomilisi nõusid, käe suurusele vastavat tassi ja söömist abistavat kaussi ning taldrikut. Ergonoomilise vormi väljatöötamisele pühendas Ene Raud-Mägi kõige rohkem aega, sest pidas seda kogu protsessi tähtsamaks osaks. Lisaks vormile otsis Raud-Mägi erinevaid lahendusi dekoorile, mis paneksid nõud lugusid jutustama. Kristel Maamägi graafika ja elav fantaasia sobivad ideaalselt kokku laste nõude olemusega. Seetõttu kohtuvad Ene Raud-Mägi disain ja Kristel Maamägi graafika nõudesarjas KOSU, kus on ühendatud autorite lapsekeskne maailmavaade.
Ene Raud-Mägi on keraamikadisainer kes oma loomingus on keskendunud portselanist tarbekeraamikale. Ta on omandanud Eesti Kunstiakadeemias keraamika magistrikraadi. Lisaks on õppinud vahetusüliõpilasena Soomes Aalto Ülikoolis keraamikat. Varasemalt on ta lõpetanud Tartu Kunstikooli kunstilise kujundamise eriala. Eesti Keraamikute ja Disainerite Liidu liikmena on Raud-Mägi pälvinud mitmeid auhindu, millede hulka kuuluvad eriauhind Eesti Disainimaja konkursilt “Laste Asi 2019” ja Eesti Disainimaja konkursilt “Väike asi”. Tähtsamad koostööprojektid on Virgio Ceramics-i ja Tamma Design OÜ-ga. Viimastel aastatel on kunstnik tegelenud väikelaste nõudesarja KOSU arendamise ja tootmisega ARS Keraamikakeskuses. Kristel Maamägi tegeleb teatri, illustratsiooni ja graafiliste novellide loomisega. Ta on õppinud Tartu Kunstikoolis kunstilist kujundamist, Eesti Kunstiakadeemias stsenograafiat ning täiendanud ennast Imatra Kunstikoolis Soomes ning Praha Näitekunsti Akadeemias Tšehhis. Maamägi on töötanud vabakutselise stsenograafi ja illustraatorina. Ta on teinud lavakujundusi Eestis, Tšehhis ja Soomes. On osalenud autorikoomiksi-, maali-, nuku- ja multimeedianäitustel Eestis ja mujal Euroopas. 2015 aastal tunnustati Kristelit koos Labürintteatriühendus G9-ga Eesti teatri aastaauhindadel Etenduskunstide ühisauhinnaga. 2019 aastal pälvis ta NUKU Teatri parima kunstniku kolleegipreemia.

Wildly Refreshing Meal offers a fairy-tale like escape to the friendly and childish world while
inviting the viewer to join the table – to communicate, to laugh and to dream. It feels cosy and safe to meet the new and old acquaintances in the shadow of blueberry plants and moss. Cheerful little familiar-looking bears are welcoming us in the middle of the interwoven blueberry stems. Everyone has a unique story to tell. Dandelion seeds are floating in the air with drifting lightness, just like flying one's dreams into heights while embodying the symbol of new emerging energy. The sacredness of thought lies in the respect towards food, life and one's companions. For a child, having a meal means not only eating but a space for exchanging experience and emotions. Through common stories and activities it is possible to guide a small person's relationship towards life through which social and vital skills are being rooted. At the current exhibition, the series of ceramic tableware KOSU is being exposed. KOSU is addressed to small children whose parents value the time spent with their child. From the point of view of child development, a small child needs ergonomic tableware – a handy cup, plates and bowls that support eating. Ene Raud-Mägi spent most of the time for developing the ergonomic design since she considered this the most important part of the whole process. Besides finding the appropriate form, Raud-Mägi also seeked for various solutions for the right look – something that would make these tell stories. Kristel Maamägi's graphic art and her lively fantasy make a perfect accompaniment to the essence of children's tableware. Therefore, the design by Ene Raud-Mägi and graphic art by Kristel Maamägi meet in the tableware series KOSU through the child-centered world view of both artists.
Ene Raud-Mägi is a ceramics designer who has focused on porcelain ceramics in her creative practice. She has obtained MA degree in ceramics at the Estonian Academy of Arts. Raud-Mägi has studied ceramics as an exchange student at Aalto University, Finland. She has formerlym also graduated from the department of graphic design at the Tartu Art School. As a member of Estonian Ceramists' Union and Estonian Association of Designers, Raud-Mägi has received several awards, including the Special Award at the contest “Laste Asi 2019” (“Kid's Thing 2019”) held by the Estonian Design House and Special Award at the contest “Väike asi” (“Small Thing”) by the Estonian Design House. Her most important collaboration projects have been with Virgio Ceramics and Tamma Design. During the past few years, the artist has developed and produced KOSU series in ARS Ceramics Centre.
Kristel Maamägi practises in the field of theatre, illustration and graphic novels. She has
studied graphic design at the Tartu Art School, scenography at the Estonian Academy of Arts and taken additional courses at Imatra Art School, Finland and at the Academy of Performing Arts, Prague, Czech Republic. Maamägi has worked as a freelance scenographer and illustrator. She has completed stage designs in Estonia, Czech Republic and elsewhere in Europe. She has participated in exhibitions of narrative cartoons, paintings, puppets and multimedia both in Estonia and in Europe. In 2015, Maamägi together with Labyrinth Theatre Group G9 were awarded the Joint Award in Performing Arts at the annual award ceremony of Estonian theatre. In 2019, she received the Colleague Award of the Best Artist at NUKU Theatre.
