Kairi Orgusaar HÄÄLESTUS. HARMOONIA VALEM / ATTUNEMENT. THE FORMULA FOR HARMONY 19.12.2025 -11.01.2026

Näitusel otsib kunstnik Kairi Orgusaar harmoonia valemit, luues selleks galeriiruumi omamaailma kummalistest ja fantastilistest olenditest kes kiiguvad valgusvihkudes, heidavad varje ja peegeldusi. Skulpturaalsed klaasvormid muutuvad valguse lisandudes hõrkudeks, mõtteavaldusteks. Vormid justkui sulavad ja moonduvad, värvid kumavad ja mõjutavad teineteist.

„Näitusel eksponeeritud olendite ainsaks võimaluseks oma emotsioone väljendada on värvide keel – rõõm, valu või erutus projitseeruvad värvidena nende nahapinnal. Kuna kujutamise materjaliks on klaas, on olendid kohati läbipaistvad, justkui oleksid nad vee all või poolenisti ebamateriaalsed – võib-olla jõudnud siia Lemuurialt - kadunud mandrilt.” selgitab kunstnik.

Käesolev näitus on variatsioon näitusest "Harmoonia valem" mis eelnevalt on eksponeeritud Tartu Kunstimajas (2025) ja näitusel "The Venice Glass Week HUB " Veneetsias (2025).

Kairi Orgusaar on lõpetanud Eesti Kunstiakadeemia maalikunsti eriala 1995 ja omandanud magistrikraadi klaasikunstis 2002. 1996. aastast alates on ta osalenud näitustel erinevates galeriides ja muuseumites Eestis ja kaugemal. Orgusaar on kolmel korral pälvinud Eesti Kultuurkapitali maakondliku aastapreemia. Tema töid leidub Lette Klaasimuuseumi kogus Saksamaal, Eesti Tarbekunsti- ja Disainimuuseumis ning mitmetes erakogudes. Alates 2002. aastast tegutseb Orgusaar oma klaasistuudios OÜ Kunivorm. Aastast 2010 on ta Raplamaa Kaasaegse Kunsti Keskuse juhatuse liige ja kuraator.

If the world were perfect, art would be meaningless—people would not seek harmony, but simply live in it.

In her current solo exhibition, artist Kairi Orgusaar searches for the formula for harmony, creating her own world populated by strange and fantastical creatures in the gallery space – creatures that are swinging in beams of light, casting shadows and reflections. The sculptural glass forms become delicate, expressive statements when light is added. The forms seem to melt and transform, the colors shimmer and influence each other.

The artist explains that the only way for the exhibited creatures to express their emotions is through the language of colours – joy, pain, or excitement are projected as colours on the surface of their skin. Since the artist has used glass as her material, the creatures look partially transparent, as if they were underwater or semi-immaterial – perhaps having arrived here from Lemuria, the lost continent.

This exhibition is a variation of the exhibition The Formula of Harmony which has previously taken place at Tartu Art House (2025) and at the exhibition The Venice Glass Week HUB in Venice (2025).

Kairi Orgusaar graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts with the degree in painting in 1995 and obtained master's degree in glass art in 2002. Since 1996, Orgusaar has participated in exhibitions in various galleries and museums in Estonia and abroad. Orgusaar has won the regional annual award of the Cultural Endowment of Estonia for three times. Her works can be found in the collection of the Glass Museum Lette in Germany, the Estonian Museum of Applied Art and Design, and in several private collections. Since 2002, Orgusaar has been working at her personal glass studio Kunivorm LLC. Since 2010, she has been a member of the board and curator of the Rapla County Centre for Contemporary Art.
